Quran 2:219

They ask you about intoxicants and gambling. Say, “There is gross sin in them, and some benefits for people, but their sinfulness outweighs their benefit.” And they ask you about what they should give: say, “The surplus.” Thus Allah explains the revelations to you, so that you may think.

They question thee about strong drink and games of chance. Say: In both is great sin, and (some) utility for men; but the sin of them is greater than their usefulness. And they ask thee what they ought to spend. Say: that which is superfluous. Thus Allah maketh plain to you (His) revelations, that haply ye may reflect.

Sana hamr-ü meysirden soruyorlar, de ki bu ikisinde büyük bir günah bir de nasa ba'zı menfeatler var fakat günahları menfeatlerinden daha büyüktür, yine sana soruyorlar: Neyi infak edecekler? de ki sıkmayanını, böyle beyan ediyor Allah size âyetlerini ki düşünesiniz

Ils t’interrogeront sur le vin et le jeu. Dis-leur : Dans l’un comme dans l’autre il y a du mal et des avantages pour les hommes, mais le mal l’emporte sur les avantages qu’ils procurent. Ils t’interrogeront aussi sur ce qu’ils doivent dépenser en largesses. Réponds-leur : Donnez votre superflu. C’est ainsi que Dieu vous explique ses signes, afin que vous méditiez

Zij zullen u ondervragen omtrent wijn en gelukspel. Zeg hun: In beiden is groote zonde, maar ook nut voor de menschen; maar de zonde is grooter dan het nut. Zij zullen u vragen, wat zij aan aalmoezen moeten besteden. Antwoord hun: Uw overvloed. Zoo heeft God u zijne teekens geopenbaard, opdat gij zoudt nadenken.

T’interrogheranno sul vino, o sul giuoco. Di’ loro: Nell’uno e nell’altro vi è male e vantaggi per gli uomini; ma il male supera i vantaggi che essi procurano.
