Quran 2:125

And We made the House a focal point for the people, and a sanctuary. Use the shrine of Abraham as a place of prayer. And We commissioned Abraham and Ishmael, “Sanctify My House for those who circle around it, and those who seclude themselves in it, and those who kneel and prostrate.”

And when We made the House (at Makka) a resort for mankind and sanctuary, (saying): Take as your place of worship the place where Abraham stood (to pray). And We imposed a duty upon Abraham and Ishmael, (saying): Purify My house for those who go around and those who meditate therein and those who bow down and prostrate themselves (in worship).

ve o vakit beyti şerifi insanlar için dönüp varılacak bir sevabgâh ve bir darüleman kıldık -siz de makamı İbrahimden kendinize bir namazgâh edinin- ve İbrahim ve İsmaile şöyle ahd verdik: Beytimi hem tavaf edenler için, hem ibadete kapananlar için, hem rükü ve sücude varanlar için tertemiz bulundurun

Nous établîmes la maison sainte pour être la retraite et l’asile des hommes, et nous dîmes : Prenez la station d’Abraham pour oratoire ; nous fîmes un pacte avec Abraham et Ismaël en leur disant : Purifiez ma maison pour ceux qui viendront en faire le tour, pour ceux qui viendront pour y vaquer à la prière, aux génuflexions et aux prostrations.

En toen wij een huis tot verzameling der menschen en een toevluchtsoord oprichtten zeggende: Neemt Abrahams huis bedeplaats, sloten wij een verbond met Abraham en Ismaël, dat zij dit huis zouden reinigen, zoowel voor die welke er om heen gaan, als voor diegenen welke het bezoeken en zich er biddend nederwerpen.

Noi stabilimmo la casa santa per servire di ritiro e di asilo degli uomini, e dicemmo: Prendete la staziono di Abramo per oratorio. Facemmo un patto con Abramo ed Ismaele, dicendo loro: Rendete pura la mia casa per coloro che verranno a farne il giro, per coloro che verranno a farvi la preghiera, e fare dello genuflessioni e prostrazioni.
