Quran 7:165

Then, when they neglected what they were reminded of, We saved those who prohibited evil, and We seized those who did wrong with a terrible punishment, because of their sinfulness.

And when they forgot that whereof they had been reminded, We rescued those who forbade wrong, and visited those who did wrong with dreadful punishment because they were evil-livers.

Vaktaki artık edilen nasıhatleri unuttular, o kötülükten nehy edenleri necata çıkarıb o zulm edenleri yaptıkları fısıklar sebebiyle şiddetli bir azâba giriftar ettik

Et lorsque les méchants ont oublié ces exhortations, nous sauvâmes ceux qui défendaient de faire le mal, et nous surprîmes les méchants par un châtiment terrible, pour prix de leur impiété.

Maar toen zij de waarschuwingen hadden vergeten, redden wij de degenen, die hun verboden kwaad te bedrijven, en wij legden hun die gezondigd hadden, eene gestrenge straf op, daar zij slecht gehandeld hadden.

E quando i cattivi scordarono quelle esortazioni, salvammo quei che proibivano di fare il male, e colpimmo i cattivi con un gastigo terribile, in prezzo della loro empietà.
