Quran 7:149

Then, when they regretted, and realized that they had erred, they said, “Unless our Lord extends His mercy to us, and forgives us, we will be among the losers.”

And when they feared the consequences thereof and saw that they had gone astray, they said: Unless our Lord have mercy on us and forgive us, we verily are of the lost.

Vaktâki ellerine kırağı düşürüldü ve cidden sapmış olduklarını gördüler, kasem olsun ki, dediler: eğer bize merhamet etmez de rabbımız, mağfiret buyurmazsa her halde husranda kalanlardan olacağız

Et lorsqu’ils se furent repentis, et qu’ils eurent reconnu leur égarement, ils s’écrièrent : Si notre Seigneur n’a pas pitié de nous, et s’il ne nous pardonne nos péchés, nous sommes perdus.

Doch toen zij met droefheid berouw gevoelden, en zagen, dat zij verdwaald waren, zeiden zij: Waarlijk, indien onze Heer geene barmhartigheid met ons heeft en ons niet vergeeft, zullen wij zeker tot hen behooren, die verloren zijn.

E quando si furono pentiti, e che ebbero riconosciuto il loro deviamento gridarono: Se il nostro Signore non ha pietà di noi, e se non ci perdona i nostri peccati, siamo perduti.
