Quran 7:142

And We appointed to Moses thirty nights, and completed them with ten; and thus the time appointed by his Lord was forty nights. And Moses said to his brother Aaron, “Take my place among my people, and be upright, and do not follow the way of the mischief-makers.”

And when We did appoint for Moses thirty nights (of solitude), and added to them ten, and he completed the whole time appointed by his Lord of forty nights; and Moses said unto his brother, Aaron: Take my place among the people. Do right, and follow not the way of mischief-makers.

Bir de Musâya otuz geceye va'd verdik ve anı bir on ile temamladık, bu sûretle rabbının mîkatı tam kırk gece oldu ve Musâ kardeşi Haruna şöyle dedi: kavmim içinde bana halef ol, ıslâha çalış da müfsidler yoluna gitme

Nous donnâmes à Moïse un rendez-vous pour trente nuits, et nous les complétâmes par dix autres nuits, en sorte que le temps de son entretien avec Dieu fut de quarante nuits. Moïse dit alors à son frère Aaron : Remplace-moi auprès de mon peuple, agis avec justice, et ne suis point le sentier des méchants.

En wij bepaalden Mozes eene vaste van dertig nachten alvorens wij hem de wet gaven, en wij voegden er tien bij; en de bepaalden tijd van zijnen Heer was in veertig nachten vervuld. En Mozes zeide tot zijn broeder Aäron, wees gij gedurende mijne afwezigheid, mijn afgezant bij mijn volk; handel oprecht en volg den weg der snooden niet.

Fissammo a Mosè trenta notti, che aumentammo di altre dieci, di modo che si trattenne con Dio quaranta notti. Mosè disse allora a suo fratello Aronne: Rimpiazzami presso il mio popolo, agisci con giustizia e non seguire il sentiere dei malvagi.
