Quran 6:123

And thus We set up in every city its leading wicked sinners, to conspire in it, but they conspire only against themselves, and they do not realize it.

And thus have We made in every city great ones of its wicked ones, that they should plot therein. They do but plot against themselves, though they perceive not.

Böyle her karyede de mücrimlerinin büyüklerini mevki de bulundurmaktayızdır ki orada mekir yapsınlar, halbuki bunlar, mekri başkasına değil kendilerine yapıyorlar da farkına varmıyorlar.

C’est ainsi que dans chaque cité nous avons fait que les grands en sont les hommes criminels, afin qu’ils y tendent des piéges ; mais ils n’auront tendu de pièges qu’à eux-mêmes.

Zoo hebben wij in iedere stad hoofdlieden van de boozen aldaar geplaatst, opdat zij er valstrikken zouden spannen; doch zij zullen hunne eigene zielen slechts strikken spannen en zij weten het niet.

Così in ciascuna città noi abbiamo fatto che i grandi divenissero i colpevoli della città stessa; essi agiscono con frode, ma non tradiranno che se stessi e non lo sanno.
