Quran 33:23

Of the believers are men who are true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their vows; and some are still waiting, and never wavering.

Of the believers are men who are true to that which they covenanted with Allah. Some of them have paid their vow by death (in battle), and some of them still are waiting; and they have not altered in the least;

Mü'minlerdendir o erler ki Allaha verdikleri ahde sadakat ettiler: kimi adağını o dedi kimi de gözetiyor ve hiç bir suretle değiştirmediler

Il est parmi les fidèles des hommes qui tiennent ce qu’ils avaient promis à Dieu ; il y en a qui ont accompli leur terme, d’autres qui l’attendent ; ils n’ont point changé.

Van de ware geloovigen vervullen sommigen rechtschapen wat zij God hebben beloofd; sommigen van hen hebben hunne loopbaan geëindigd, en sommigen van hen verwachten hetzelfde voordeel, en zij veranderen hunne belofte niet, door daarvan in het minst af te wijken.

Vi sono fra i fedeli degli uomini che mantengono a Dio ciò che gli avevano promesso. Ve ne sono che hanno compito il loro termine; e altri che l’attendono; non sono punto cambiati.
