Quran 33:13

And when a group of them said, “O people of Yathrib, you cannot make a stand, so retreat.” And a faction of them asked the Prophet to excuse them, saying, “Our homes are exposed,” although they were not exposed. They only wanted to flee.

And when a party of them said: O folk of Yathrib! There is no stand (possible) for you, therefor turn back. And certain of them (even) sought permission of the Prophet, saying: Our homes lie open (to the enemy). And they lay not open. They but wished to flee.

Ve o vakıt ki bunlardan bir taife «ey Yesrib ehalisi Sizin için duracak yer yok hemen dönün» diyorlardı, yine onlardan bir kısmı da Peygamberden izin istiyor «cidden evlerimiz açıktır» diyorlardı, halbuki açık değil, sırf kaçmak istiyorlardı

Lorsqu’une partie d’entre eux disaient : O habitants de Iathrib ! il n’y a point ici d’asile pour vous ; retournez plutôt chez vous, une partie d’entre vous demandèrent au prophète la permission de se retirer, en disant : Nos maisons sont sans défense ; non, elles n’étaient pas sans défense, mais ils ne voulaient que s’enfuir.

En toen een partij van hen zeide: O bewoners van Yathreb er is hier geen plaats van zekerheid voor u; keert dus terug naar huis. En een deel van hen vroeg verlof van den profeet om te mogen vertrekken, zeggende: Waarlijk, onze huizen zijn zonder verdediging en aan den vijand blootgesteld; maar zij waren niet zonder verdediging en hunne bedoeling was slechts te ontvluchten.

Quando varj di loro dicevano: Abitanti di Iathrib non v’è qui asilo per voi! ritornate piuttosto alle vostre case, alcuni di voi domandarono al profeta il permesso di ritirarsi, dicendo: Le nostre case sono senza difesa; ma non cercavano che a fuggire.
