Quran 46:8

Or do they say, “He invented it himself”? Say, “If I invented it myself, there is nothing you can do to protect me from Allah. He knows well what you are engaged in. He is sufficient witness between me and you. He is the Forgiver, the Merciful.”

Or say they: He hath invented it? Say (O Muhammad): If I have invented it, still ye have no power to support me against Allah. He is Best Aware of what ye say among yourselves concerning it. He sufficeth for a witness between me and you. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

Yok, iftirâ etti mi diyorlar? De ki: ben onu iftirâ ettimse siz beni Allahdan kurtaracak hiç bir şey'e mâlik olamazsınız ve o sizin neye yaygara edip durduğunuzu pek âlâ bilir, ona benimle aranızda şâhid o yeter, hem de gafûr, rahîm o

Diront-ils : C’est lui (Mohammed) qui l’a inventé (le Koran) ; dis-leur : Si c’est moi qui l’ai inventé, faites que je n’obtienne rien de Dieu. Mais Dieu sait le mieux ce que vous en dites. Il me suffit de l’avoir pour témoin entre vous et moi. Il est l’Indulgent, le Miséricordieux.

Zullen zij zeggen: Mahomet heeft het (den Koran) uitgedacht? Antwoord: indien ik het heb versierd, waarlijk, dan zult gij geenerlei gunst voor mij van God verkrijgen. Doch hij kent de beleedigende taal, welke gij daaromtrent uitspreekt. Hij is een toereikende getuige tusschen mij en u, en hij is barmhartig en genadig.
